Most used operating systems – January 2024
Steam shared the most used operating systems of January. Accordingly, Windows 11, which was released last year and was not on the agenda with serious problems in the first place, is still not a version preferred by gamers, although it has been largely free of problems recently. Despite this, it experienced an increase of 2.29 percent last month, and usage rates rose to 44.24 percent.
Windows 10, which has the largest share of the pie, experienced a decline last month. The release showed a decrease of 2.02 percent in January, and its market share decreased to 51.43 percent. In addition, Windows 7, which left its mark on a period and has recently lost update support, also received a share of 0.59 percent from the cake, with a decrease of 0.09 percent last month.
